NEW YORK -- Gray Line New York Sightseeing launched commissionable,
behind-the-scenes tours of midtown theaters and television studios.
The Showbiz Insiders Tour, available through June 30, departs
Mondays through Sundays at 8:30 a.m. from the visitor center at 777
Eighth Ave. (between 47th and 48th streets).
The program first visits the New Amsterdam Theatre, home to
Disney's "The Lion King."
Passengers are then taken to Rockefeller Center for the NBC
Studio Tour to view the set where NBC News anchor Tom Brokaw
delivers the news and where "Saturday Night Live" is broadcast.
This is followed by lunch at Planet Hollywood before continuing
to Radio City Music Hall to meet a Rockette for the Stage Door
Reservations are required. The eight-hour tour costs $89 for
adults and children ages 5 to 11.
