MIAMI -- As part of its $5.4 million summer advertising effort, the
Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau will launch $1.5
million worth of 30-second TV spots.
They will carry the message that: "There's never been a better
time to visit Greater Miami and the Beaches."
The "call to action" portion of the commercial will include a
suggestion to contact a travel agent, a spokeswoman for the Greater
Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau said.
The TV markets include: Atlanta; Baltimore; Birmingham, Ala.;
Boston; Charlotte, N.C.; Chicago; Dallas; Detroit; Los Angeles;
Memphis; Nashville; New York; Philadelphia; and Washington.
