Greyhound ties on with theme parks

DALLAS--Greyhound Lines teamed up with SeaWorld, Universal Studios and Wet 'n Wild, all in Orlando, Fla., to create a seven-day Floripass ticket that would give the user unlimited bus travel throughout the U.S. as well as admission to each of the theme parks.

The cost is $269 for those 10 years of age and older and $149 for children ages 3 to 9. A four-park ticket, calling for 10 days of unlimited bus travel and a visit to the same three parks plus Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, costs $299 and $199, respectively.

The Floripass is an expansion of Greyhound's Ameripass concept, which permits unlimited travel throughout the U.S. and between the U.S. and foreign points for seven to 60 days. According to Brenda Holsinger, the Ameripass sales manager for Greyhound, agents earn 10% pay on all Floripass sales and there are no blackout dates.
