Hapuna Beach Prince adds spa

KONA COAST -- The Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel here added a spa and an oceanside massage area and is adding new carpeting to its 350 rooms.

Guests now can get a massage as they recline near the ocean. The massage area is large enough for massage treatments for individuals and couples .

The hotel also added a Paul Brown Salon & Spa. The spa is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily and offers hair styling, facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, massage and body treatments.

This year, the hotel is spending $350,000 on new carpeting.

The Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel has six restaurants, tennis courts and a golf course.

The hotel, operated by Prince Resorts Hawaii, dropped its Westin designation Jan. 31 to give the Prince name more exposure and to drive more North American business to the 72 Prince hotels in Japan.

The Hapuna Beach and its sister property, the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, both have tennis, golf, spa and romance packages ranging from $399 to $489 per night for two people.
