Hawaii firm offers cruise-city tour

HONOLULU--Royal Hawaiian Cruises offers a new package that combines its sunset dinner cruise aboard the Navatek I with a city-lights sightseeing tour.

The product starts with the two-and-a-half-hour cruise aboard the 380-passenger vessel, which departs Pier 6 at Honolulu Harbor and cruises beyond Diamond Head.

Dinner includes a four-course menu, live music and three cocktails. A new menu features an oriental salad, seafood scampi wrap, Napoleon of beef and a dessert.

The cruise is followed by the city tour, which includes the Capitol district and Mount Tantalus, with views of the city lights.

"We've created this elegant dinner cruise package with the romantic passenger in mind," said Kathleen Loui-Yasui, Royal Hawaiian's president.

Called A Thousand Lights and Romance Cruise, the package costs $120 per person. The price includes roundtrip transportation from Waikiki hotels. The cruise is from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with the city-lights tour 7:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
