Hawaii hotels offer packages

Sheraton Moana Surfrider offers the Moana Memories package through Dec. 25. The packages features a historic banyan oceanview room, breakfast and afternoon tea for two, a catamaran ride for two, a postcard book on historic Waikiki, a Hawaiian candy, daily newspaper and leather luggage tags. Ilikai Hotel Nikko Waikiki introduced family and romance packages for 1999. Family Affair includes an oceanview room with full kitchen for three nights, an intermediate-size Alamo rental car and parking. It also includes a $100 one-time dinner credit at the hotel's Canoes restaurant, breakfast daily for up to two children ages 12 and under, and tax and gratuity. The price is $639 for two adults and two children under 18. Romantic Getaway features a one-bedroom oceanview suite for three nights, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries on arrival, daily continental breakfast (restaurant or room service), dinner for two at Canoes, with a bottle of house wine, and tax and gratuity. Royal Garden at Waikiki offers clients aged 55 and older 30% discounts off rack rates through Dec. 19, starting at $91 for a standard room. They also get a 10% discount when dining at the hotel's two restaurants. Royal Garden, Phone: (800) 367-5666.

Sheraton Princess Kaiulani offers Sheraton's discounted SureSaver rates for two room categories through the year. The SureSavers are $150 for a city-view room (with rack rate of $235) and $194 for oceanview (normally $275). The rates can be combined with the hotel's fifth night free program, and with its Daily Dining Dollar program, which provides a $25 food credit per room for each night's stay. Ihilani Resort & Spa introduced three Elima packages: Taste of Ihilani, the Ihilani Aloha and the Discovery, each available through Dec. 25. Elima is the Hawaiian word for five, and the hotel celebrates its fifth anniversary this year. Taste of Ihilani includes accommodations, one activity per person per day (the choice is a round of golf, a Swedish massage, facial or Thalasso therapy, a sailing/snorkeling excursion, or a three-course dinner). Prices start at $498 a night for an oceanview room. Ihilani Aloha features accommodations and a $60 a day dining credit, starting at $362 for an oceanview room. The Discovery includes accommodations and a midsize car, starting at $291 a night with a golf course and mountain view room. Each package has a two-night minimum stay and includes taxes and the use of the hotel's fitness facility and unlimited aerobics classes.
