Hong Kong Tourist Board to shut Chicago office

LOS ANGELES -- The Hong Kong Tourism Board said it will close its Chicago office, effective March 31, in an effort to streamline operations and save costs.

Midwest operations will be consolidated into the board's Los Angeles office, and Kirk Beck will be the Midwest representative in Los Angeles.

The board's only other office is in New York.
