Hurricane season keeps on churning

Lorenzo is the latest addition to the roster of storm names for the 2007 Atlantic Hurricane season.

Tropical Storm Lorenzo, lurking approximately 100 miles off Veracruz, Mexico, is expected to strengthen into a Category 1 hurricane as it nears the coast early Friday morning, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Karen, located approximately 850 miles east of the Windward Islands, appeared to be weakening.
