Hyatt Regency plan packs bonuses

ORLANDO -- The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress introduced a year-round Sunshine on Sale package tied to several value-added offers, especially for families.

First, for every three nights paid, the fourth night is free. In addition, clients have the option of upgrading to a suite for $99 per night, if one is available, and booking an adjoining room of equal value at a 50% discount.

For the period June 1 through Aug. 31, families get an additional bonus of free meals from the children's menu for youngsters ages 12 and under at Cascades, Hemingway's or the White Horse Saloon and Steakhouse. Children must be accompanied by one paying adult.

A free full day at Camp Hyatt also is provided for up to two children per room, ages 12 and younger. Among the camp activities are biking, pitch 'n' putt golf, equestrian center tours, scavenger hunts, movie nights, swimming, tennis, arts and crafts, video games, sand-sculpting and paddleboat rides.

The Resort Services Program, which is optional for $10 per night per room, provides up to $150 in daily recreation and also covers local phone calls, an in-room safe and theme-park shuttle transportation.

The Sunshine on Sale package is priced from $385 to $465 per room, per night, through May 12; from $275 to $355, May 13 through Sept. 29; $385 to $465, Sept. 30 through Nov. 17; and $290 to $370, Nov. 18 through Jan. 5, 2003.
