International flights to Myanmar resume

All international and domestic flights through Myanmar's Yangon International Airport resumed on Monday, according to a Xinhua News report.

Flights reportedly resumed after repairs were made to damaged airport infrastructure caused by Cyclone Nargis, which tore through Yangon and Myanmar’s heartland early Saturday. The airport was closed on Saturday and Sunday.

News agencies are reporting that the cyclone death toll is at 22,000 and climbing.
