Jamaica Tourism's 'One Love' campaign is back

NEW YORK -- The Jamaica Tourist Board launched a $2.5 million U.S. television advertising campaign in key markets that will run through July, according to Fay Pickersgill, director of tourism.

Prior to the campaign launch, JTB negotiated a payment schedule with the Jamaican government for an outstanding debt with its ad firm, Foote, Cone & Belding.

In related news, operator Sunburst Holidays is giving agents who mention the JTB TV spots a $50 bonus coupon for every booking of inclusive, seven nights or longer stays, and $25 for shorter inclusive stays and all EP bookings.

The coupons are valid as payment on other bookings made by Sept. 30 and will be sent with clients' travel documents.
