OCHO RIOS, Jamaica -- The Renaissance Jamaica Grande relaunched its
Club Mongoose children's center, highlighted by the addition of a
teen center with computer stations that offer e-mail access.
Other new club facilities include a waterslide and puddle pool,
a swinging-rope bridge, an outdoor and indoor stage and a kidsize
Activities include steel pan drum lessons and a visit to a local
school. Children also can participate in nature walks, reggae dance
classes and arts and crafts activities.
Club Mongoose is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for kids ages
2 to 12. The newly refitted teen center is open to guests ages 13
to 19 from 7:30 a.m. to midnight.

Scuba diving, snorkeling, water skiing, jet skiing and
windsurfing are available through the resort's on-site Jamaica
Grande Watersports Center. Golf, horseback riding, polo and river
rafting are offered nearby.
