Keauhou to showcase area during Big Island Fest

KEAUHOU -- The Keauhou resort area, which contains several properties, will host its first Bounty of Keauhou event from Oct. 31 through Nov. 4.

The event, which is part of the islandwide Big Island Festival, will showcase the area's cuisine, culture, sports activities and music.

The Big Island Festival will feature more than 100 events hosted by the island's top resorts, visitor attractions and golf courses, along with the Big Island Visitors Bureau and the County of Hawaii.

Bounty of Keauhou events include the Pacific Cup of Freediving, the Hook 'n' Cook fishing tournament and a beach bash barbecue.

Two Keauhou resort properties are offering discounts in conjunction with the event.
