NEW YORK -- Two of Israel's finest domestic hotels are now on the
voice reservation service of Utell International.
The two hotels -- the King David in Jerusalem and the Dan Tel
Aviv -- are Leading Hotels of the World properties and can be
booked either through that reservations system, the Internet or as
a Utell voice entry, according to Dan Hotels Corp.'s Israel hotel
The deluxe King David, flagship of the Dan chain and in the heart
of new Jerusalem overlooking the Old City, has a long history of
hosting visiting dignitaries from around the world.
Recently redecorated and refurnished, it offers 327 guest rooms
and luxury suites plus restaurants, bars, banquet facilities for up
to 400 people, lavish gardens and an outdoor swimming pool.
The 286-room Dan Tel Aviv, which was the venue for the victory
press conference after the recent election of Ehud Barak as prime
minister, has 84 deluxe rooms with a view of the Mediterranean and
32 luxury suites.
Although on the shoreline, it is located in central Tel Aviv
near the country's financial, shopping and entertainment hubs.
The property has several lounges, indoor and outdoor pools,
banquet and conference halls and a restaurant. In addition, the Dan
Hotels of Israel has Panorama properties, featuring an added focus
on corporate facilities, in both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv as well as

New addition: Panorama Jerusalem
JERUSALEM -- The newest addition to the Dan Hotels chain is the
former Radisson Moriah Hotel here.
The Dan Panorama Jerusalem, which Dan Hotels acquired earlier
this year for $27 million, is located downtown across from Liberty
Bell Park and is within walking distance from the Old City's Jaffa
Renovations on 170 of the property's 292 rooms will be complete
by December, according to Dan Hotels president Ami Hirschstein.
Accommodations include a Royal Suite, a Penthouse Suite, six
regular suites, nonsmoking rooms and rooms equipped for travelers
The property also has a snack bar at the rooftop pool; the
A-La-Carte dairy restaurant; a lobby lounge; six meeting rooms for
