Korea launches 'Pass Card'

SEOUL, South Korea -- Korea launched the Korea Pass Card for foreign visitors. The prepaid card can be purchased by visitors who present their passports at the Incheon Airport or at the Visa Customer Center in downtown Seoul.

The card can be used wherever Visa and Kookmin credit cards are accepted, including restaurants, duty-free shops and shopping centers.

The cards, which come in three denominations, also can be used to purchase bus and subway rides in Seoul and Incheon. It also can be used to purchase rides in taxis that display the Korea Pass Card logo.
