MIAMI -- LanPeru intro-duced daily direct service from New York to
Lima, Peru, through Miami, using LanChile's 767 aircraft.
The LanPeru southbound flight departs New York (Kennedy) at 9
p.m., with arrival in Lima at 5:15 a.m.; the northbound flight
leaves Lima at 11:25 a.m., arriving at Kennedy at 9:25 p.m.
LanPeru, a Peruvian company in which LanChile holds 49%
interest, also offers domestic services in Peru.
The carrier offers two flights daily from Lima to Cusco and to
Arequipa and is expanding to include new service between Lima and
Juliaca, gateway to Puno.
Passengers traveling with LanPeru may accumulate mileage in
American Airlines AAadvantage, LanChile's LanPass or any one of the
Oneworld member frequent flyer programs.
