LeSport's Master Chef program is scheduled for Nov. 3 to 9

CASTRIES, St. Lucia -- Foodies, take note. LeSport will launch its first annual Master Chef program Nov. 3 to 9 with Michel Nischan, executive chef at Heartbeat restaurant in the W Hotel in New York since its opening in 1998.

Nischan will offer his menu selection at Tao, one of LeSport's three restaurants, according to Julian Ayers, general manager.

Although LeSport is an inclusive resort, guests will be charged a small supplementary fee for Nischan's meals.

The event also will feature lectures on nutrition and low-fat cooking.

Guests attending the lectures will receive packets of recipes.

The 154-room resort features a range of health and fitness activities, supplemented by services and treatments at its full-service Oasis spa.

Inclusive rates cover accommodations, all meals and beverages, land and water sports, three pools, fitness classes and spa treatments.

Daily rates through Dec. 16 range from $215 to $355 per person, double.
