Little Dix Bay hosts chats

VIRGIN GORDA, British Virgin Islands -- Rosewood Hotels & Resorts' Little Dix Bay on Virgin Gorda offers an alternative to sun and sand for clients who seek cultural stimulation and dialogue while on vacation.

Paradise Chats, an ongoing monthly series free to guests, features visiting authors, artists, musicians and luminaries who meet and mingle with guests to share ideas.

Recent participants include actress Marcia Gay Harden, choreographer Debbie Allen, CNN anchor Aaron Brown and children's author Steven Kroll.

At the resort through March 7 is New York prosecutor and author Linda Fairstein, who prosecuted Robert Chambers, aka the Central Park Preppy Murderer, who was released from prison last month.

Fairstein's new book, "The Bone Vault," is on the New York Times bestseller list.

Novelist and screenwriter Susan Issacs will be at Little Dix March 30 through April 6, while author Carol Higgins Clark will be there July 15
