Little Palm Island resort sets pay for meal plans

LITTLE TORCH KEY, Fla. -- Little Palm Island, an upscale, all-suites retreat on its own island just north of Key West, improved its commission structure for travel agents by making its two meal plans commissionable, according to Michel Neutelings, general manager.

Accommodations-only rates, including recreation, always have been commissionable.

Through April 30, these rates are $795 per night, per unit for midweek stays and $895 for weekends.

The rates include the three-mile launch shuttle service to and from the island, a daily newspaper, unlimited snorkeling and scuba-diving trips, as well as the use of Surfbikes.

Also included are the use of the fitness center, library, kayaks, canoes, windsurfers, Hobie Day Sailors, snorkels, fishing equipment, beach lounges and floats.

The meal plans are $95 per person, daily for breakfast and dinner; $135 for all three meals.

Seaplane service to Little Palm Island from South Florida airports is available.
