Lounge lizards snared by Net in Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia -- Thanks to new Internet access ports, all classes of travelers at Kuala Lumpur Airport can access the Web in the airport's public Plaza Premium Lounge.

Located on the mezzanine level of the Satellite Building, it is the only public lounge available to all classes of travelers, regardless of airline.

Lounge lizards can log onto the Internet by plugging a connection cable (provided at the service desk in the lounge) into the network card of their laptop computers.

Users do not need a modem, Internet service provider, special software or new computer settings.

Travelers can browse, send and receive e-mail and access their company's networks. Forty-eight ports are available.
