MINNEAPOLIS -- MLT, Inc., which operates KLM/Northwest WorldVacations, augmented its Holland lineup with a program that combines Amsterdam with Paris via high-speed train. Clients travel between the two cities aboard the Thalys train, which takes less than five hours.

The program features accommodations for two nights in Amsterdam and two nights in Paris; buffet breakfast daily in Amsterdam; a standard class ticket on the Thalys between Amsterdam and Paris; continental breakfast daily in Paris, and hotel tax

and service charges. The lead rate for the program is $226 per person, double, with accommodations at the Tulip Inn Tropen in Amsterdam and Frantour Paris Berthier in Paris. A wide selection of other hotels in each city is available as are extra nights and upgrades to first class on the Thalys train.

MLT's KLM/Northwest WorldVacations' product line in Holland also features two-night packages in Amsterdam with prices starting at $78 per person, double. The starting rate, which covers accommodations at the Tulip Inn Tropen, includes buffet breakfast daily, a 10% discount on a meal at the city's well-known Five Flies restaurant; a coupon for a tour of the Royal Porceleyne Fles pottery factory in Delft; a tour of the Gassan Diamonds factory in Amsterdam, and hotel taxes and service charges.

The firm offers 10 other hotel selections in Amsterdam, with extra nights available at each property. A variety of optional sightseeing programs can be added to any Amsterdam package. The options include programs that spotlight Amsterdam as well as excursions incorporating cities and attractions such as The Hague, Delft, windmills and a flower auction.
