Marriott opens Oahu timeshare

HONOLULU -- Phase One of Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club is open on Oahu's southwest coast.

This 15-story timeshare was built with five-star quality, the company said.

The first property in a planned complex of four buildings contains 103 two-bedroom, two-bath villas.

Each villa is approximately 1,240 square feet, has a fully equipped kitchen, three television sets and sleeps up to eight people.

Upon its completion in 2016, Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club will offer 750 two-bedroom villas, three outdoor pool areas, outdoor spas, a fitness area, kids club, owner's lounge, business center and two restaurants.

Other Marriott Vacation Club International properties in Hawaii are Marriott's Kauai Beach Club, Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club on Kauai -- which opened Jan. 3 -- and Marriott's Maui Ocean Club.
