KOHALA -- Mauna Kea Resort will hold its eighth annual Winter Wine
Escape Nov. 11 to 13. The three-day festival will include wine
tastings, seminars and dinners.
Prices range from $20 to $150 for each of the 10 events planned
for the festival.
In addition to Hawaii chefs, guest chefs participating will
include Hubert Keller of Fleur de Lys, San Francisco; Rene Bajeux
of the Windsor Hotel's Grille Room in New Orleans, and Steven
Ciappetti of Mango Restaurant in Chicago. Steven Olson, a wine
connoisseur and co-host of "Quench" on the Television Food Network,
will be master of ceremonies.
The package, which costs $325 a night, double, with a minimum
three-night stay, features two tickets to the prelude event, two
tickets to the finale, daily buffet breakfasts for two and
accommodations at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel or Hapuna Beach Prince
