KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. -- The newest wrinkle (forgive the pun) at
the 3-year-old Spa at Sonesta Key Biscayne is the Mens Body Shop
program that offers manly packages like the Tune Up, the
Realignment and the Rebuild.
"The Mens Body Shop packages were implemented because they were
asked for by repeat corporate and leisure guests and because this
is an increased trend in the industry," said Leslie Allen, spa
director at the hotel.
The number of men using spa services is growing. In 2002, male
clientele equaled 29% of spa users -- up from 24% in 2001 -- and
60% of these customers said they used spas to relieve stress,
according to a 2003 study released by the International Spa

facials, manicures and pedicures, haircuts, aromatherapy and mud
wraps, so we packaged them," Allen said.
