Mexicana Airlines opens LAX lounge

LOS ANGELES -- Mexicana Airlines opened an executive lounge in the Tom Bradley Terminal at Los Angeles Airport, becoming the first Mexican carrier to operate an executive lounge at the airport.

Mexicana offers nearly 16 daily departures between Los Angeles and Mexico, more than any other airline serving Mexico, Mexicana said.

The 1,000-square-foot facility offers such amenities as personal computers with free Internet access, fax machines, snacks, a bar and beverages and soft drinks.

The lounge is available to all Star Alliance and Frecuenta Gold members and to passengers traveling on Mexicana's Executive Class.
