package plans to draw visitors attending the Miami-Bahamas Goombay
Festival, which celebrates black heritage.
The 21st annual event will be held in Coconut Grove the weekend
of June 5 to 7. The festival will feature junkanoo dancers moving
along Grand Avenue, accompanied by Caribbean music.
Bahamian conch chowder, cracked conch and other Caribbean dishes
will be available. More than 400 vendors will be on hand.
