Most Wind-erful Time: Hurricane forecast out

NEW YORK -- The official forecast for the 2002 hurricane season: more active than normal with nine to 13 named storms, including six to eight hurricanes and two to three major hurricanes.

The official hurricane season runs from June 1 through Nov. 30, and government and emergency officials are busy tweaking their final predictions.

They warned that coastal residents, who have escaped a hurricane strike for two years, may run out of luck this year.
