NYC & Company, New York Citys tourism development arm, further extended its reach this week with the opening of offices in Stockholm and Moscow, bringing its total number of overseas sites to 11.

The opening of the Stockholm office, which will serve all the Scandinavian countries, coincided with the opening of the four-day Swedish International Travel & Tourism Trade Fair in Gothenburg on March 22.

The Moscow opening coincided with the opening day of the Moscow International Travel and Tourism exhibition, held March 21 to 24.

For the first time, NYC & Company also sponsored booths at the two fairs, emphasizing its commitment to marketing directly to prospective international visitors.

For both locations, NYC & Company contracted with Aviareps Mangum, a tourism and airline marketing company, to represent the city.
