National Airlines offers daily Miami service

LAS VEGAS -- National Airlines launched two daily nonstop roundtrips from Miami to the carrier's hub here and announced it is offering inclusive air and hotel packages.

Miami is the eighth city served by National Airlines since the carrier started service May 27 of last year.

The airline's amenities include increased legroom and overhead storage space and "real meals" in both first class and the main cabin on selected long hauls, according to a spokesman for the carrier.

The airline's frequent flyer program awards members perks from Harrah's Las Vegas Casino Hotel and the Rio All-Suite Casino Resort.

Both properties have ticketing and check-in facilities.

National Vacations, a division of National Airlines, is offering inclusive packages to Las Vegas that include roundtrip air transportation and two- or three-night stays at a variety of hotel/resort casinos.

Optional first class air, extra night hotel stays, Hertz car rentals and ground transfers also are available at an additional charge.

William Hensley, vice president of National Vacations, said that more Las Vegas packages would be offered in the future.

Members of National Airlines' frequent flyer program, National Comps, earn points equal to 10% of their vacation package price on all packages purchased.
