New Orleans Black Tourism Network changes name

NEW ORLEANS -- The Greater New Orleans Black Tourism Network changed its name to better reflect its expanded base.

It now is being called the New Orleans Multicultural Tourism Network (NOMTN).

After nine years of being the city's only organization dedicated to marketing the city as an ideal site for African-American events and meetings, NOMTN expanded its constituency base and now works with many ethnic groups.

Coinciding with the name change was the debut of the group's first multicultural visitor guide. It is available by calling (504) 523-5652.
