Noordam's New Itinerary Covers Western Caribbean

BY SABINA RUBBINACCIO NEW YORK -- The Noordam features a new itinerary: Grand Cayman; Santo Tomas de Castilla, with shore excursion options to Copan, the Rio Dulce and Tikal, Guatemala, and Punta Venado, Mexico, with shore excursion options to Cancun, Chichen Itza and Tulum.

Cruise-only fares for six-night sailings start at $694 per person, double, with the Caribbean Savings advance-purchase program.

Caribbean Savings fares are available for a limited number of staterooms on each sailing and are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis, according to the line. Children ages two to 18 and accompanying their parents sail for $335.

The fare for infants under age two is $250.

Per person prices for a seven-night western Caribbean cruise range from $1,262 for a standard inside stateroom during the economy season of October and November to $2,128 for an outside double deluxe stateroom during the peak season, January through March.
