Norvista creates weekly package to Warsaw, Prague

NEW YORK -- Norvista Travel Services created a tour for those who want to enjoy Warsaw, Poland, and its neighbor capital Prague, Czech Republic, in a leisurely way.

Frequent requests for new Warsaw packages, combined with increased ease of access to the region, helped spur the creation of this package, according to Tuula Liesimaa, Norvista sales manager.

The eight-day Warsaw and Prague tour spends three days in each city, allowing ample time for shopping and exploring.

Visitors arrive in Warsaw, a city that was rebuilt after near total destruction during World War II.

The day is open for participants to spend at leisure or to discover the city's many monuments, churches and landmarks.

Their second day will feature a tour of sites such as the Palace of Culture and Science, the Old Town Market Square, the Royal Castle and Belvedere Palace.

The following day is spent at leisure, with recommendations to discover the Old Town's restaurants, pubs and shops.

A train will then take visitors to Prague, where the first and last days will be for individual exploration or a day trip to the country. The second day in Prague will feature a city tour.

The packages will depart from New York every Thursday through April.

Included are roundtrip air fare from New York on Finnair, three nights' accommodations in each city, the train ride from Warsaw to Prague, city tours and airport transfers.

Budget, premier and deluxe accommodations are available, with prices varying according to room choice and dates. Budget prices range from $789 to $959 per person, double.

The premier package ranges from $1,129 to $1,549; the deluxe option costs from $1,699 to $2,089.
