Norway to host ecotourism conference in May

The International Ecotourism Society (TIES) will hold a Global Ecotourism Conference in Oslo, Norway, May 14 to 16 in partnership with Ecotourism Norway and the United Nations Environment Programme.

According to TIES, more than 500 participants are expected at the event, which the organizations is categorizing as a meeting point for more than 40 national and regional ecotourism associations, experts and professionals from around the world with the purpose of "strengthening the collective voice" on environmental issues.

The conference will be held at the Holmenkollen Park Hotel Rica in Oslo.
