Oceania carriers add to air service

HONOLULU -- Qantas Airways and Air New Zealand announced additions to their weekly flight schedules.

Qantas added two flights from Los Angeles to Brisbane, Australia, with a stop in Auckland, New Zealand. In January, it will add four flights from Los Angeles to Sydney, Australia.

In October, Air New Zealand will increase Los Angeles-Auckland service to 14 flights; Los Angeles to Sydney to five; and Honolulu-Auckland flights to three. In November, the carrier will increase flights from Auckland to Sydney to 27.
