KEENE, N.H. -- Some tour operators limit their city sightseeing to
guided tours of Moscow's Kremlin and St. Petersburg's palaces.

writer, such as Engineer's Castle, where he studied, and the
neighborhood where he lived. The tour, which includes a stop at the
author's grave, is priced at $30, double.
A Glimpse of Jewish St. Petersburg explores a religion that has
been part of Russian life for centuries. The trip takes in one of
the largest synagogues in Europe and two Jewish cemeteries. The
program is priced at $35, double.
