Operator features behind-the-scenes plan

NEW YORK -- Discover New York with Kitt Garrett launched a three-night package that gives clients a behind-the-scenes look at several of the city's famous attractions.

Clients will stay at the Waldorf-Astoria; dine at the 21 Club and the Oyster Bar; take a private tour of the United Nations; and enjoy a walking tour of 42nd Street and its architecturally significant buildings.

The package, which is available through August, is priced from $2,565 per person, double, for a group of four, to $1,466 per person for a group of 35 or more. Commission is 12%.

The package includes a three-night stay at the Waldorf, where guests will learn about the hotel's history and famous guests, tour its block-long kitchen and have Sunday brunch at the hotel's Peacock Alley.

At the U.N., clients will get a private tour and have lunch in the Delegates Dining Room. As part of the 42nd Street walking tour, clients will participate in a cooking demonstration and have lunch at the Oyster Bar.
