Operator introduces Disney sales kit


FORT LAUDERDALE--Delta Vacations, operated by Certified Vacations here, introduced a Sale-A-Bration Kit to help agents sell Walt Disney World Resort packages.

According to Rolf Logan, director of sales for Delta Vacations, the kit is most valuable when used as part of a vacation sales event staged for top clients. The contents include brochures, a Disney vacation video, a copy of the Walt Disney World Travel Industry Reference Guide, a travel planner and a related checklist to help facilitate sales. Provided as well are a Disney Animal Kingdom Theme Park poster, flyers and postcards.

In addition, Delta Vacations introduced price and commission incentives for clients and agents, respectively. For clients, incentives include:

  • Customers who buy air-inclusive Delta Vacations packages of five nights or longer and who stay at Disney on-site hotels (except All-Star Music, Sports and Movies) are eligible for a $100 savings per booking; with single occupancy, $50.
  • Clients staying off-site for at least three nights, qualify for one free four-day children's (ages 3 to 9) pass for the Disney parks if they buy packages that include Disney's World Hopper pass for two adults and one child. Should the child be between the ages of 10 to 18, instead of the free pass, there will be a $150 credit toward an adult pass. Bookings can be made through Dec. 31, and travel must be completed by March 31. For agents, incentives include:
  • Agents who book through the CRS will earn 11% pay, instead of the usual 10%.
  • The agency will qualify for a $10 bonus for air-inclusive bookings generated for Florida or other destinations that include the travel protection plan.
  • Bookings must be made by Dec. 31, and travel completed by March 31 .
