Orlando theme parks announce reopenings

Major theme parks in the Orlando area affected by Hurricane Floyd have announced their reopening dates:

Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom will reopen today from noon to 8 p.m. for guests staying at Disney on-site resorts.

Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios and the Magic Kingdom theme parks will reopen Thursday, as will the two Universal Studios Escape theme parks.

Crossroads will release more information on storm-related issues as it becomes available. Meanwhile, the airport in Orlando was to reopen at noon Wednesday, while service to the Marathon and Key West Airports, both in the Florida Keys, was expected to resume today as well.
