Each trip will feature activities designed for younger travelers, including a chance to hand-feed a giraffe at the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife center; visits to Samburu and Njemps villages and a Masai village and school; discussions on animal behavior and conservation, and breakfast at the hippo pool at the Masai Mara reserve.

Also on the agenda are an encounter with a tame rhino, a visit to a chimp orphanage and a trip to the Nairobi National Park, where another orphanage features lion cubs, baby hippos and crocodiles.
