Park East offers couples romantic escape to Kenya

NEW YORK -- Park East, a Grand Expeditions company specializing in nature travel and safaris, is offering agents a 12% commission on its Kenya romantic getaway programs.

One such package, the 12-day Romantic Escape to Kenya, combines a luxury safari to Kenya's game reserves with visits to beaches on the Indian Ocean coast.

"There is a lot of solitude, so the area is fitting for two people," said Eric Gordon, chief executive officer of Park East.

The tour begins at the Samburu Game Reserve, with two nights' accommodations at the Samburu Serena Lodge, followed by one night at the Sweetwaters Tented Camp.

The next day, participants fly to the Masai Mara Game Reserve and spend three nights at the Mara Serena Lodge.

On game drives, all travelers have a window seat and are accompanied by a guide.

The trip moves to the north coast of Kenya and features accommodations at the Kiwayu Safari Village.

The village offers a host of water sports, including snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, wind surfing and sailing.

The Romantic Escape to Kenya starts at $6,200 per person and includes roundtrip air between the U.S. and Kenya, four flights within Kenya, accommodations and all meals while on safari.
