SAN JUAN --- Jorge Pesquera, CEO of the Puerto Rico Convention
Bureau, resigned his post, effective Feb. 27, and will move to
Aruba in March as president and CEO of the Aruba Hotel &
Tourism Association, replacing Horace Hord, who is retiring after
four years in the position.
Pesquera has been with the PRCB for 10 years, except for a brief
period in 2000 when he served as executive director of the Puerto
Rico Tourism Co. He was named CEO of the convention bureau in July
