CHICAGO -- The Art Institute eclipsed the Museum of Science and
Industry here in a survey of must-see tourist sites conducted by
Continental Airport Express, which operates shuttle service to and
from O'Hare and Midway airports.
Navy Pier came in second when Airport Express asked passengers
what Chicago landmark topped their to-do lists, Airport Express
In previous surveys, the Museum of Science and Industry always
came out on top by a healthy margin, the firm said.
More than 340 travelers participated in the latest survey.
The Art Institute received 50 votes; another eight passengers
simply responded, "art museum."
Navy Pier pulled in 25 votes.
Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, tied for third with
Sears Tower, with 20 votes each, while the Museum of Science and
Industry received seven votes.
Zimmerman's, a liquor store on Grand Avenue, earned one vote,
Airport Express noted.
