Renovations in the Sunshine State

The Radisson Suite Beach Resort on Marco Island completed a $3.4 million renovation that features a landscaped entrance with new foliage, including shading by various palm trees.

The resort's 14-story pavilion courtyard was converted into a tropical garden with 2,500 exotic plants and shrubs. Corridors and elevators were refurbished and public areas upgraded.

Nearly 200 rooms and suites were updated with new furnishings, and the resort boasts a new Sunset Lounge.

Meanwhile, the Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld completed an $18 million renovation of its 780 rooms and suites.

The five-month project involved carpets, beds, mattresses, bedspreads, draperies, frames, upholstered furniture and pillows. In-room safes, armoires and other additions also were part of the project. Two-person desks are now standard, with data ports built into desktop lamp fixtures.
