Residence Inn at SeaWorld opens with $89 rate

ORLANDO -- Clients looking to stay close to SeaWorld now have another option. The 350-suite Residence Inn at SeaWorld International Center, the largest property in the chain, held its grand opening this month and offered an introductory room rate of $89 per night.

The rate (GDS code LLRA) is valid through May 15 and is subject to availability. Rack rates start at $119 per night, double, based on the length of stay and availability. Agents earn 10% pay on all sales.

Located on Westwood Boulevard, the hotel is within a half-mile of SeaWorld and its Discovery Cove water park affiliate.

There also is shuttle service to and from SeaWorld, Wet N' Wild and the Universal Orlando theme parks.

The Residence Inn is owned by CNL Hospitality Corp. of Orlando and managed by Marriott.

The six-story, all-suite hotel offers studio, one- and two-bedroom suites, each with a full kitchen. The property also has 1,260 square feet of meetings space capable of handling up to 120 people.

Additional amenities include an outdoor pool, a poolside bar, an exercise room and a sand volleyball court. For children, the inn features a poolside children's bar serving ice cream and pizza, a playground and a game room.
