Russia added to State Dept. passport policy

WASHINGTON -- The State Department added Russia to the list of countries whose travelers can enter the U.S. even if their passports will expire within six months after their visits.

Separately, the State Department proposed to waive visa fees for foreign government officials who apply for visas through diplomatic channels to come to the U.S. for personal travel, effective March 1.
