SWA Vacations offers discounted hotel plans

LAS VEGAS -- Southwest Airlines Vacations' reduced rate for two adults to stay at select hotels is available from 11 origin markets when booked by Dec. 31.

A two-night vacation package starting at $99 is valid for travel from Burbank, Ontario, San Diego and Los Angeles, Calif.; Phoenix, and Salt Lake City.

Hotels participating include the Westward Ho, Palace Station, Lady Luck, Stratosphere, Circus Circus (manor rooms) and the Plaza for $99; the Riviera, $139; Circus Circus (tower), $159; the Golden Nugget, $199; Tropicana and Excalibur Hotel & Casino, $209; Luxor, $259, and New York-New York, $269.

The comparable rates are $50 more each for packages starting at $149, which are available from Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco and San Jose, Calif., and Albuquerque, N.M.

The offer includes roundtrip air transportation, hotel accommodations and taxes, Rapid Rewards credit and 24-hour travel assistance.

The rates, which are based on double occupancy, require Sunday through Wednesday departures from Dec. 3 to 18 and Jan. 9 to March 13.

Blackout dates apply. Packages must be booked no later than four days prior to departure.

The rate, which is subject to availability, does not include $2.75 federal and $12 airport taxes.
