Scotland Firm Buys Royal Yacht

NEW YORK -- The former Royal Yacht Britannia was purchased by Edinburgh, Scotland-based Forth Ports for about $400,000 and will be turned into a tourist attraction at Leith Docks, Edinburgh, according to news reports in the U.K.

The vessel is expected to be open to the public in time for the Edinburgh Festival in August and it is expected to draw 200,000 visitors annually. Estimated admission fees were put at $9.50 per person.
