NASSAU -- The Small Treasures properties are different from one
another, and each has distinctive characteristics and qualities,
offering very different travel experiences.
Before booking, carefully qualify your clients to determine what
they are expecting from their stay.
Here are a few issues to keep in mind:
* Mobility. Do your clients have concerns about getting up and
down stairs, or around on narrow garden paths?
If so, check the property you are considering to be sure access
will be easy.
* Transportation. In many cases, small hotels are off the main
tourist strips and off the beaches, so many clients will likely
prefer to rent a car for at least part of their stay.
As for taxis, here's a driver I liked: Ed Flowers, who handles
sightseeing, dinner and casino tours, drives a well-used Cadillac
and is completely reliable. Call (809) 324-1600.
* Family matters. Several of the Small Treasures offer
accommodations with kitchenettes, handy for families who want to
keep an eye on food costs. Request these in advance.
