WASHINGTON -- Alaska Airlines is seeking Transportation Department
approval to fly from Los Angeles to Guadalajara on a daily basis
aboard a 138-seat Boeing 737-400.
"This would be a significant benefit to passengers in
California, the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, Canada and Mexico, and a
strategic addition to our route structure," said Don Garvett,

Garvett said the proposed schedule would provide convenient
daily connections between Guadalajara and more than 50 cities
served by Alaska and its sister carrier, Horizon Air.
