Swede suites: Two properties add 640 rooms

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- This city will get its largest hotel next spring, when the 532-room Clarion Hotel Scandinavia opens in the city's Sondermalm district.

The Clarion will have conference rooms for 450 delegates, banqueting for 800 and a restaurant and bar.

Meanwhile, the Radisson SAS Royal Viking is giving Clarion a run for its money in the Swedish capital, thanks to a $12.5 million expansion and renovation effort.
